This brooch was commissioned as a gift for the Christening of two twins. It is based on the work from the Fabricate collection.

The kissing doves are made from sterling silver with pierced out detail. The piece was then sand-blasted to give it the grainy textured finish that you can see in the photo.

The wood used in this piece is sourced from my very own back garden in Wales. The wood has been highly varnished to preserve it. I like using wood like this because it gives the wearer a little piece of nature to carry around with them.
